Dave & I are collectors…always looking for cool old stuff to display in our apartment, use as props, or give as gifts. On our way to the always interesting Lambertville, we stopped at a little antique market on the side of the road on a whim. That’s where we met Pamela of NV Silver & Antiques, and I totally fell in love with this adorable ring.
It is a piece of antique silver-plated flatware that has been repurposed. Love the scrolly details (i just made that word up) and monogram of what I thought was an “M,” actually a “W.” A lovely gift…it would make any lady feel pretty darn special. (Thanks, Dave :))
Dave was really drawn to the key-rings made from vintage flatware used on airplanes, which would be pretty rad gifts for guys.
We talked with Pamela about the pieces she has in her local shop. She told us she recently gathered a collection of different momogramed napkin rings for a bride that wanted to give her wedding party special gifts when they found their seats at the reception. Such a thoughtful way to personalize an event.
You can visit Pamela online, stop by her store on your way to Lambertville, or contact her via email (lynch177@msn.com) and maybe you will find something awesome, too.
