I never know how to start these posts. This was simultaneously the coldest and hottest engagement session I think we’ve ever done in our short history. We started at the Union Square farmer’s market and ended up in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Apparently, and I know this going to blow your minds, the way you keep exotic plants alive when there’s a foot of snow on the ground is to bring them inside and crank up the heat. I think the thermostat said 74 bajillion degrees.
Chris and Andrea are most excellent peoples and we had such a blast with them there were times we couldn’t remember if we were working or not. We had lots of time to get to know them while we waited to defog and they took us to the most ridic Vietnamese sammich shop in the city and no, I’m not telling you where it is. Andrea has the greatest eyes. Not only do they photograph fantastically, they have a built in camera tracking system that lets her know where we were at all times. Chris is, as Moo says, a tea “somiliwhater” for Tavalon, who wrote a book on tea that we actually own! We’re going to need to get that autographed…
