Around the holidays I do a mini-session with my parents, brother, sister, and Rocky their Jack Russell. My family is really in to music so this year they decided to do the session in Asbury Park at the Wonder Bar.
After the session I created a custom holiday card design for them. Every year I’m pretty much competing with myself to out do the previous years card design. This year I was inspired by Noelle’s kitchen to do a “Greetings from…” style front. I used images of Tillie, the Casino, Convention Hall, and the Carousel in the lettering. For the back I just played off the stripes on the awning over the door and the Wonder Bar lettering…I used something similar but not the same.

I don’t let them see the design until I deliver the cards (Gasp!). I wouldn’t do this with a client, but their my family so they let me surprise them…which is awesome. I’m super happy with the way the card turned out. What do you think?
